Holiday Wish List
Clients are always asking me which must-have items I recommend so I created a list of the ones I talk about most!
Newborn
Over the years parents have said they really appreciated a strong snugly swaddle that can transition with them as they develop, a lay-flat stroller that could double as a crib on the go, and of course my Newborn Starter Kit.
Infants
By far the item I recommend most for this age is a quality sleep sack. This quilted cotton wearable blanket helps infants feel cozy and it's narrow design prevents crib climbing. Small, durable, easily washable "lovies" are safe to introduce around one year and can be helpful when traveling or sleeping on the go.
Toddlers
Toddlers and parents love the Hatch light and sound machine because it helps to clearly cue when its time to rest and when it's time to wake for the day. I also encourage parents to use visual charts and to invest in my helpful Mindful Parenting Practices when power struggles and tantrums become a reality.
Adults
The things I recommend most for adults are these low profile happy lights and the super comfortable Mzoo sleep mask to help keep your body clock on track. If you're wanting to splurge on something extremely cozy and environmentally friendly, Pact's organic sheets are Ahhhhmazing.
All Ages
The Calm app offers great meditations and sleep stories for both kids and adults. No need to waste money on a white noise machine; every bedroom in our house has a desktop air filter. It provides white noise AND clean air! We really appreciate it during fire season in Idaho.
